At Finkel Associates LLC, we practice corporate and commercial law with the focus on client’s business success.
We represent growing companies, serial entrepreneurs, high net-worth individuals, family offices, venture capital firms, private equity and hedge funds in all types of business transactions and decisions.
We counsel clients on issues of start-up law and all matters of business governance. We help clients manage partner and shareholder relationships. We guide clients through the process of attracting and retaining talented employees and contractors. We represent clients in business financing transactions involving purchase and sale of debt and equity securities. We represent clients in deals involving sales of goods and provision of services. Finally, we advise clients in business combination and disposition transactions and represent clients in matters of business divorce.
We navigate the attorney-client relationship by never losing focus of the fact that our clients are in the business of doing business, not in the business of litigation or legal academia and we tailor our legal advice accordingly.
We take the time to understand our clients’ business needs as well as legal challenges and provide business-focused, real-world legal advise designed to promote business growth and minimize conflict, whenever possible, to help our clients achieve immediate and long-term business goals. As a result of our business-oriented approach to legal practice, we frequently help clients resolve highly contested business disputes without involvement in protracted and costly litigation.
As a result, our clients often hold us in confidence not just as attorneys but also as trusted advisors and business strategists.
