Feliks Finkel
Feliks Finkel is an experienced attorney and a skilled negotiator. He counsels domestic and international clients on issues of US corporate law and company governance. He guides companies through transactions involving purchase and sale of private equity securities and debt instruments. Clients call upon his knowledge and experience commercial transactions involving sales of goods and services.
Feliks represents clients in matters of business divorce, often turning the most bitter and embattled disputes between the members of closely-held companies into productive, beneficial settlements without resorting to protracted and expensive litigation.
Feliks is also a trained economist with significant prior experience in equities trading and investment selection. His unique ability to perform legal and economic due diligence on prospective investments is a quantifiable asset to his clients who also benefit from his experienced insight, keen grasp of corporate and commercial law, as well as his creative, business-focused legal advise.
Wanting to study Delaware corporate law, he attended the only law school within the State of Delaware, the Delaware Law School of Widener University where he excelled academically, graduating third in his class with the designation of magna cum laude. In addition, Feliks served as an intern to Chief Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge of the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. We was also a Wolcott Clerk to Justice Henry duPont Ridgely of the Supreme Court of Delaware. There, he assisted the Justice and the Court on appeals involving cutting-edge issues of corporate law and corporate governance. Feliks served as a Manuscript Editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law.
Before opening the law firm of Finkel Associates LLC in 2013, Feliks practiced commercial litigation with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty and Kelly, P.C., in Delaware and New York.
Feliks graduated from Hunter College, City University of New York, with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics.
Feliks is a Member of the New York and Delaware State Bars
